Activities

Extracurricular activities are the ideal complement to classroom education for the integral development of students.

Registration

All extracurricular activities we offer will begin on October 1, 2024 and end on June 20, 2025.

Applications must be submitted using the Google Forms form sent to families by September 23rd. Applications submitted on paper at the school office or sent by email will not be accepted.

In order to avoid problems at the time of registration, applications sent by email will NOT be accepted.

Registrations for the different activities will be made for a minimum of one trimester.

In addition, it is important to note that:

• In order for an activity to be carried out, the minimum number of participants
established in the instructions for each activity must be covered.

• Places will be assigned in order of registration.

• When a student withdraws from an activity, this will not be effective until the following quarter
and must be communicated in writing to the school secretary's office.

Activity schedules will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. onwards.

Robotics and Programming

Programming is the English of the XXI Century, that is why in Greenwich School we have the company ConMasFuturo to offer a technological school program, where we will work with:
– Programming of video games, APPs, electronics and Arduino.
Robotics and augmented reality.
Graphic design.
Antihacking.

Groups

Minimum of 8 students and maximum of 20.

ConMasFuturo's team of specialized teachers.

In addition to the monthly fee, a registration fee of 40,00€ will be paid, which includes a kit of materials for the students.

PRIMARY

Music School (Piano)

In these classes, in addition to learning the correct posture of the hands and how to play the piano, there will also be an introduction to musical language so that the students can perfectly understand scores, tones, rhythms and tempos.

An enjoyable, participatory and fun activity where they will learn to interpret musical pieces with this great instrument.

Dance (Ballet)

Ballet is one of the most classical and beautiful dances there is, where we appreciate the elasticity, harmony and coordination, in its various facets and styles.

In this course we teach the art of ballet dancing in a fun and enjoyable way where we will also prepare a performance for families that we will perform at the end of the course.

Minimum of 13 students and maximum of 20.

For the end of the course performance, students will have to rent a costume for a cost of approximately 20€.

Mandarin Chinese (Eva Laoshi)

The importance of the use of Mandarin Chinese continues to grow, especially in the economic and business fields, where knowing Chinese becomes a great competitive advantage.

This language also improves the student's mental agility and memory, and thanks to our native teacher, the classes are very fun and efficient.

In this course we prepare students to pass the official YCT exams.

A perfect complement for learning English, since thanks to this activity students will improve their communication skills in this second language, reading and other necessary competences.

Judo

Judo is an Olympic sport that is carried out through a methodical, rational and progressive physical education method.

A sport where teamwork, coordination, cooperation and sportsmanship are essential.

Students improve their psychomotor development, appropriate to their age, and individual psychomotor skills are enhanced while having fun with their classmates.

A very complete gymnastic training activity in which we use materials such as ribbons, hoops or clubs.

Students have a good time improving their aerobic and physical capacity. It is done both individually and in teams.

With this activity we practice different sports so that the students get to know them, try them and later on they can choose which one they want to specialize in.

Every day we have different games and activities where we improve the physical and motor skills of children with sports while having fun and learning about sportsmanship, teamwork, effort and strategy.
